What Equipment We Use

Land Clearing Questions,
Clear Answers.

Do I need approval before clearing my Tampa property?

Start with the actual address. City of Tampa and unincorporated Hillsborough County have different processes. Tree approval and land-alteration approval are separate questions. For a new home in the county, clearing and grading are reviewed with the building project. Confirm the scope before equipment arrives.

Which service should I choose?

Bush hogging cuts grass, weeds and light brush. Forestry mulching shreds suitable woody growth and leaves mulch. Land clearing removes trees and includes stump work or hauling where quoted. Tell us how you want to use the property and we can help you choose.

Can you keep the trees I like?

Yes. We mark the trees to keep before work starts and plan equipment routes around them. Protecting a tree includes protecting its roots. We also check for protected trees and any required barriers or clearing limits.

What happens to the brush and debris?

Bush-hogging cuttings and forestry mulch normally stay on the property. For clearing and tree removal, we agree on hauling, stump work and any material left on-site. Those details belong in your quote.

Will Brazilian pepper or cogongrass grow back?

They can. Cutting visible growth is different from killing the plant. Brazilian pepper can resprout, and cogongrass spreads through underground rhizomes as well as seed. We discuss follow-up needs; one clearing or mowing pass is not a promise of permanent control.

How long will the work take?

A light field cut may take a few hours. Dense brush, larger trees and hauling can take several days. Access, weather and ground conditions matter too. We give you a schedule after reviewing the property and the work.

Can you work near wetlands or wet ground?

We assess access and clearing limits first. Hillsborough County EPC reviews wetland impacts, and other approvals may apply. Routine mowing, clearing and filling are different activities. Wet soil may also mean waiting until equipment can travel without rutting the property.

Does grading make the lot ready to build?

Rough grading shapes the agreed area. A foundation pad can also need designed elevations, suitable fill, compaction testing and inspections. We spell out the work included so your builder knows what still needs to happen.
