How Our Mulching Process Works

We use a forestry-equipped compact track loader with a drum mulching attachment. After marking trees and clearing limits, we work through the brush in controlled passes. Suitable stems around 5–7 inches need a machine and site check. The shredded material stays as ground cover.

Palmetto, Pepper and Pine Regrowth

Tampa-area lots can have thick saw palmetto, Brazilian pepper, vines and young pine growth. Suitable material can be mulched while marked trees stay. Cutting pepper or palmetto does not guarantee the roots are dead. We discuss follow-up maintenance, and assess dense clumps or larger stems separately.

Land Clearing Questions,
Clear Answers.

Does mulching remove stumps and roots?

Mulching shreds suitable growth above ground and can reduce exposed woody material. It does not extract buried roots or large root balls. For a driveway or building footprint, ask about separate stump and root work.

What happens to the brush and debris?

Bush-hogging cuttings and forestry mulch normally stay on the property. For clearing and tree removal, we agree on hauling, stump work and any material left on-site. Those details belong in your quote.

Will Brazilian pepper or cogongrass grow back?

They can. Cutting visible growth is different from killing the plant. Brazilian pepper can resprout, and cogongrass spreads through underground rhizomes as well as seed. We discuss follow-up needs; one clearing or mowing pass is not a promise of permanent control.
